The position vector <-17, 11, -4> or -17i + 11j - 4k has length sqrt%28%28-17%29%5E2+%2B+11%5E2+%2B+%28-4%29%5E2+%29=+sqrt%28426%29. The direction cosines are then
-17%2F+sqrt%28426%29, 11%2F+sqrt%28426%29, -4%2F+sqrt%28426%29.
Incidentally, the answer is d, none of the choices.
