the function would be 'undefined' for any value of x such that the denominator = 0

(3x^3-5x^2-2x) = 0 |Finding the roots of (3x^3-5x^2-2x)

x(3x^2 - 5x - 2)= 0

x(3x+1)(x- 2) = 0 Note:SUM of the inner product(1*x) and the outer product(-6x) = -5x

 x = 0

(3x+1)= 0

    x = -1/3

(x- 2) = 0

   x = 2

 x = 0,-1/3,2 are the real numbers for which the rational expression is undefined
