Question 395156: Which of the following expressions represents the product of 3 less than twice x and 2 more than the quantity 3 times x ?
it took me a while trying to figure out what to do in the first place. i at least made it to writing the problem down from the sentence. i know the answer from previous sources. but i still dont know the steps on how exactly (2x-3)(3x+2)became 6x^2-5x-6. i would like to know the steps on how to turn it to 6x^2-5x-6. your help will be greatly appreciated. thank you

...
twice x = 2x
less 3
2x-3
..
3x+2
..
(2x-3)(3x+2)
{2x(3x+2)-3(3x+2)}
{6x^2+4x-9x-6}
{6x^2-5x-6}
