Question 394897: The measure of the largest angle of a triangle is three times the measure of the smallest angle and 2 degrees more than the third angle. Find the measure of each angle.
I tried 7x+2=180 (derived from 3x+2, 3x, and x)
But that doesn't work out according to my instructor.
Would you please help me? Thanks.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
smallest angle ___ x

"The measure of the largest angle of a triangle is three times the measure of the smallest angle" ___ 3x

"2 degrees more than the third angle" ___ so the 3rd angle is 2º LESS than the largest ___ 3x-2

7x - 2 = 180
