You can put this solution on YOUR website!
From -4e^2x + 3 = -5
subtract three, then divide by minus four...
-4e^2x = -8
e^2x = 2
take ln
2x = ln 2
x = (1/2)*ln 2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+-4e%5E%282x%29+%2B+3+=+-5+
+-4e%5E%282x%29+=+-8+
+e%5E%282x%29+=+%28-8%29%2F%28-4%29+
+e%5E%282x%29+=+2+

Now take natural logs of both sides:
+2x+=+ln%282%29+
+x+=+%28ln%282%29%29%2F2+
