If it gains 1+ft+in 2+min, but it loses 6+in each time , then it really only gains
6+in every 2+min
.
There's 12+in per foot, and 8+ft=96in to climb
96in%2F+6+in+=+16+..... (2 min crawls)

16crawls+%2A+2+min_+per_+crawl+=+32min............takes to climb 8+ft


but, this is also possible:
if it falls back 6+in each time it reaches 1+ft, then it will
never get past 1+ft, and therefore never reach the top
