You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In a die, no. of even number = 3 (i.e 2,4,6),
no. of prime number = 3 (i.e 2,3,5)
no. of prime which is also even = 1 (i.e 2)
P(A U B) = P(A) + P(B) -P(A /\ B) /\ -intersection sign

Probability (even or prime) = 3/6 +3/6 -1/6 = 5/6

no. of faces greater than or equal to 5 = 2 ( i.e 5,6)

Probability ( at least 5) = 2/6

P(even or prime)
P(at least 5)

P(any one roll) = 1%2F6, "OR" implies "ADD" (if events can't both happen
at the same time)

----------------------------

P(even or prime) = P(2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6) = P(2) + P(3) + P(4) + P(5) + P(6) =

1%2F6 + 1%2F6 + 1%2F6 + 1%2F6 + 1%2F6 = 5%2F6

----------------------------

P(at least 5) = P(5 or 6) = P(5) + P(6) = 1%2F6 + 1%2F6 = 2%2F6 = 1%2F3
