You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming that the equation is g-2%2F5=g%2B4%2F7

g-2%2F5=g%2B4%2F7 Start with the given equation.

35%28g-2%2Fcross%285%29%29=35%28g%2B4%2Fcross%287%29%29 Multiply both sides by the LCD 35 to clear any fractions.

35g-14=35g%2B20 Distribute and multiply.

35g=35g%2B20%2B14 Add 14 to both sides.

35g-35g=20%2B14 Subtract 35g from both sides.

0g=20%2B14 Combine like terms on the left side.

0g=34 Combine like terms on the right side.

0=34 Simplify.

Since this equation is never true for any g value, this means that there are no solutions.
