You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Trapezium (american -trapezoid - if two sides are parallel).
The area of a trapezium/trapezoid is given by:
A+=+%28%28b%5B1%5D%2Bb%5B2%5D%29%2F2%29%2Ah
The two bases are:
b%5B1%5D+=+20m.
b%5B2%5D+=+15m.
The height is:
h+=+12m.
Make the appropriate substitutions:
A+=+%28%2820%2B15%29%2F2%29%2A12 Evaluate.
A+=+210sqare metres.
The cost of the fertilizer at Rs.5 per square meter for 210 square meters is:
5%2A210 = Rs. 1050
