Hi
Let x represent base cost and y the charge per 25mi
Question states***
b + (50/25)y = 200
b + (200/25)y = 245 |Subtracting first equation from second
b + 8y = 245
-b - 2y = -200
6y = 45
y = $7.50, the charge per 25mi

b + 7.50*2 = 200
b = 200 -15
b = $185
Cost = 185 + 7.50/25mi
cost%5B450%5D = 185 + 7.50 *450/25 = 185 + 7.50*18 = $320
