P(rolling a 5)for example = 1/6  

As out of the 6 possible outcomes, 1 of those is a five



P(1 then 2 then 3) = 1/6*1/6*1/6   OR (1/6)^3 = .0046

P(three 1s) = 1/6*1/6*1/6   OR (1/6)^3 = .0046
