You can put this solution on YOUR website!
One elevator starts out on the 4th floor,35 feet above the ground,and is desending at a rate of 2.2 feet per second.
Height1(x) = 2.2x + 35 where x is the number of seconds and H1 is in feet
==============================================================
the other elevator starts out at ground level and is rising at a rate of 1.7 feet per second.
Height2(x) = 1.7x where x is the number of seconds and H2 is in feet.
write a system of equations to represent the situtation.
