You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the slope of the line that passes through each pair of points.
(2,1),(0,0)=
Slope m = diffy/diffx
m = ((1-0)/(2-0)
m = 1/2
-------------
Do the others the same way. If diffx = 0, the slope is undefined and the line is parallel to the y-axis.
----------
(4,5),(6,2)=
(3,8),(7,3)=
(1,0),(-4,2)=
(8,-4),(-6,-3)=
(-2,-3),(6,5)=

Hi,
Using the point-slope formula,
Note: may help in comparing y and x values to write the points as follows:
(2,1),
(0,0) m = 1/2 |
(4,5),
(6,2) m = 3/-2 = -(3/2) |
(3,8),
(7,3) m = 5/-4 = -(5/4) |
(1,0),
(-4,2) m = -2/5 = -(2/5 |
(8,-4),
(-6,-3) m = -1/14 |
(-2,-3),(6,5) m = 8/8 = 1 |
do alway recommend checking the arithmetic
