You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Angle A and angle b are complementary angles. If the measurement of angle A= 9x-14 and the measurement of angle B= 8x+2, then what is the measurement of each angle?
.
Because they are "complementary":
A + B = 90
.
(9x-14) + (8x+2) = 90
17x-12 = 90
17x = 102
x = 6
.
A = 9x-14 = 9(6)-14 = 54-14 = 40 degrees
B = 8x+2 = 8(6)+2 = 48+2 = 50 degrees
