The question says:
Find the remaining trigonometri functions of theta if tan theta = -√5 and theta terminates in quadrant 4?
the given choices are:
A)cot theta=√5/5
B)cos theta=-√6/6
C)sin theta=√30/6
D)sec theta=√6

A)cot theta=√5/5
tan and cot are reciprocals of each other. The reciprocal of a negative is also negative. So this choice cannot be correct.
B)cos theta=-√6/6
Cos is positive in the 4th quadrant so this cannot be the correct choice.
C)sin theta=√30/6
sin is negative in the 4th quadrant so this cannot be the correct choice.
D)sec theta=√6
By the process of elimination this must be correct.
