Question 391023: hi, how do you find the sixth root of 256 without a calculator?
thanks! Found 2 solutions by Alan3354, scott8148:Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 256 = 2^8
The 6th root of 256 = the cube root of 16 = 2 * cube root of 2.
The cube root of 2 requires either a calculator, or a log or trig table, to my knowledge.
