Solve the following system by substitution
8x-4=16 ----(1)
8x = 16+4 = 20
8x = 20
x = 20/8 = 5X4/2X4 = 5/2
x = 5/2 ----(*)
y=2x-4 ----(2)
y = 2X(5/2) - 4 (using (*) in (2) )
y = 5-4 = 1
Therefore x = 5/2 and y = 1
