If sin A>0 and tan A<0, then A is in what quadrant?

Since sin = y/r and r is always positive, y is + is sin is +.
So, sin>0 A must be in I or II.
----
Since tan = y/x, if tan<0 and y is positive, x must be negative.
So, tan<0 A must be in II.

sin A >0 and tan+A+=+sin+A%2FCos+A < 0, then cos A must be <0
