We have to find the number of face cards and hearts in a deck.

There are 13 hearts and 3*(4 suits) = 12 face cards (if J,Q,K are face cards), so 25 total. However, the union of these two sets is three cards (J, Q, K of hearts) so we have to subtract three to account for over-counting, so there are 22 cards that are face cards or hearts. The probability is 22/52 or 11/26.
