You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=√(x-4)Find the intercepts
From what I can tell I think its (0,-4) with no y intercept is this correct and could you show your workings.
-------
x-intercept = ?
Let y = 0,
then sqrt(x-4)=0
x-4 = 0
x = 4
So, x-intercept is (4,0)
-----
y-intercept = ?
Let x = 0,
then y = sqrt(0-4) = sqrt(-4) which is not a Real Number.
So, there is no y-intercept.
