You can put this solution on YOUR website!
55X+65X=300 OR 120X=300 OR X=300/120 OR X=2.5 HOURS

Answer by Nate(3500) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
distance traveled = y
hours driven = x
.................................
y = 55x + 65x
300 = 120x
x = 2.5
After two and one-half hours, the cars will be exactly 300 miles away from each other.
