You can put this solution on YOUR website! Call the cities H, A and B.
Let the distance from A to B be x.
Thus the distance from H to A is x + 5.
And the distance from B to H is x - 45.
Add the three distances and get 392.
So we have
x + (x + 5) + (x - 45) = 392
3x - 40 = 392
3x = 432
x = 144
x + 5 = 149
x - 45 = 99
