According to question,
speed of boat in against the current = 60/5 =12 km/h
speed of boat with the current = 60/3 = 20 km/h

let the speed of boat in still water = x km/h and rate of current is : y km/h
then x+y =20... (1) (speed of boat with the current)
and x-y = 12 .... (2) (speed against the current)
now, add these two equations..
2x =32 => x =16
and y=4
speed of boat in still water =16 km/h and speed of current is 4km/h.
