Let x and (x+2) and (x+4)

represent the first, second and third of three consecutive even numbers 



Question States***

 (3/5) x + 1/2(x+2) +3/8(x+4) = 32

solving for x

Multiplying all terms by 40, so as all denominators = 1

 24x + 20(x+2) + 15(x+4) = 32*40

  59x + 100 = 1280

  59x = 1180

     x = 20  Three  consecutive even numbers  are 20,22,24

CHECKING our Answer***

 3/5*20 + 1/2*22 + 3/8*24 = 12 + 11 + 9 = 32
