  y^3 - 64

  y^3 -4^3  perfect cube. 

In general: x^3 - a^3 = (x-a)(x^2 + ax + a^2)

   y^3 -4^3 

Factors to:  with  a = 4

  (y-4)(y^2 + 4y + 16)
