Raising something to a negative power is the same as dividing it by the positive power. So, w^-4 is the same as 1/(w^4)
So,
%28w%5E-4%29%2F%28w%5E6%29
is the same as
1+%2F+%28w%5E4%29+%2A+1+%2F+%28w%5E6%29+
To determine the denominator, we multiply w^4 by w^6 by
adding the powers together. So the answer is:
1%2Fw%5E10
Or equally:
w%5E-10

Hi,
Note: x%5Em%2Ax%5En+=+x%5E%28m%2Bn%29+
w^-4 / w^6 = 1/w^10 OR w^-10
