Hi,
three positive integers are (x-1),x and (x+1)
Write as we Read***
x(x-1)(x+1) = 40[(x-1)+ x +(x+1)]
x(x-1)(x+1) = 40[3x]
(x-1)(x+1) = 120
Solving for x
x^2 - 1 = 120
x^2 = 121
x = 11 (tossing out negative solution) Positive integers are 10,11,12
CHECKING our Answer***
1320 = 40* 33
