The function is in the form
y = an^x
Plugging in the first point for x and y
1/2 = an^0
gives a = 1/2
so we're at
y = (1/2)n^x
now plug in the second point
9/2 = (1/2)n^4
n^4 = 9
n^2 = ± 3
n = ± sqrt(3) and n = ± i°sqrt(3)
All four n's work.
