Hi,
Let x represent cost of fake fur and y the cost of the leather coat
Question states ...Write as we Read! (ordering a total of 40 coats)
25x + 15y = $9300
10x + 30y = $12600
-50x - 30y = -$18600 Multiplying @ term in first equation by -2
-40x = -$6000 Eliminating the y variable
x = $150, cost of the fake fur
10x + 30y = $12600
y = (12600 - 1500)/30 = $370
Cost of splitting the order evenly
20*150 + 20*380 = 3000 + 7400 = $10,400
Will leave it to you to put the solving technique into Your own words
