Question 388501: An electric company charges $7.70 per month plus 15 cents for each kilowatt hour (kwh) of electricity used. Find a function that gives the mean cost per kwh, -c (that is a c with a line over it), when using n kwh.
(Express in dollars.)
-c (not negative c, but, c with a line over it) = ___________
Let f(x) = x^2 - 7 an g(x) = 6x-2. Find the value, if possible. (If not possible, enter IMPOSSIBLE.)
(f+g)(-5) = ___________
Let f(x) = 4x-4 and g(x) = 4x-4. Find the value.
(g * f)(-6)= _________________
This is all the same problem, the -c is a c with line over it, I didn't know how to make my keyboard do that. Thank you!!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! C = cost
C = 7.70 + 0.15n
-----------------
Let f(x) = x^2 - 7 an g(x) = 6x-2. Find the value, if possible. (If not possible, enter IMPOSSIBLE.)
(f+g)(-5)
f(-5) = (-5)^2 - 7 = 18
g(-5) = 6*(-5) - 7 = -37
f(-5) + g(-5) = -19
----------------------
Let f(x) = 4x-4 and g(x) = 4x-4. Find the value.
(g * f)(-6)
g(-6) = 4*(-6)-4 = -28
f(-6) = -28
f*g = 784
