You can put this solution on YOUR website! It really depends on the proof...elementary proofs are easy to plan out since they have few steps, but more complicated proofs will be more difficult, and may require unusual logic (e.g. using complex numbers to solve a geometry proof). However you probably won't see this except in contests such as USAMO, IMO, and Putnam. Regardless of the proof, be sure to write your steps in order, either using a standard essay style or two-column proof.
