You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since the diameter is 10 ft, the radius is 10%2F2=5 ft. So r=5

V=pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah Start with the volume of a cylinder formula.

V=pi%2A%285%29%5E2%2835%29 Plug in r=5 and h=35.

V=%283.14159265%29%285%29%5E2%2835%29 Replace pi with 3.14159265 (note: Use more digits of pi to get better accuracy).

V=%283.14159265%29%2825%29%2835%29%29 Square 5 to get 25.

V=2748.89356875 Multiply 3.14159265, 25 and 35 to get 2748.89356875 (this value is approximate).

V=2748.894 Round to the nearest thousandth.

So the volume is approximately 2,748.894 cubic ft

...
wht is the volume of a 35ft tall tank with a 10ft diameter?
..
Volume V of a cylinder = pi*r^2*h
r=radius = 5 feet
h= height = 35 feet
..
V=pi*5^2*35
V= 2748.89 ft^3
