Hi
D = r*t, In 2, 3, 4 distances are the same and questions are done similarly
2. 8kmph*t = 5kmph*(3.25hr-t)
solve for t
13kmpht = 5kmph*3.25hr
t = 5*3.25/13kmph
t = 1.25hr 8kmph*1.25hr = 10km. Total distance walked = 20km
5. 18*x = 16*(x+2) where x is the number of days
solve for x
18x = 16x+ 32
2x = 32
x = 16 days 18/day*16days = 288 sweets
CHECKING our Answer
288 = 16/day* 18days = 288
