Hi,
Determining whether the graphs of the two lines are parallel
Note: Parallel Lines have the same slope
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y + 5 = 2x OR y = 2x - 5 m = 2
3x - y = -5 OR y = 3x + 5 m = 3
These two lines do not the same slope, they are not parallell lines.
