3x+2y=5 is like : 2y=-3x+5, the slope is determined by the factors -3 and 2, the parallel should have same slope, hence, those factor should remain the same.

To find the new term instead of 5, we plug the intercept (x,y)=(0,-1) to be solution, we see that if x=0 and y=-1, then -2 should replace 5, the equation becomes :

2y=-3x-2 or 2y+3x=-2
