100-5x%2B10x=165 Distribute.


5x%2B100=165 Combine like terms on the left side.


5x=165-100 Subtract 100 from both sides.


5x=65 Combine like terms on the right side.


x=%2865%29%2F%285%29 Divide both sides by 5 to isolate x.


x=13 Reduce.
