Speed of Brinda 3 mph
Speed of Gillian 2.5 mph
Case 1 when they walk towards each other
approach velocity=3+2.5=5.5 mph
distance between them= 1 mile
time to cover the distance = 1/5.5=2/11 hour=(2/11)*60min=5.45*2=10.90==say 11 min
