Set up a ratio of Yes votes compared to Total votes cast. If the ratio of yes votes to no votes was 3 to 2, then there were 3 yes votes cast for every 5 total votes. Set up the following ratio:

3%2F5+=+2124%2Fx means taht 3x+=+5%2A2124
