the vertex form of a parabola, y=a%28x-h%29%5E2+%2Bk where(h,k) is the vertex
y = 3x^2 -24x + 38 Completing the square
y = 3(x^2- 8x) + 38
y = 3[(x-4)^2 -16] + 38
y = 3(x-4)^2 - 48 + 38
y = 3(x-4)^2 - 10
Vertex is Pt (4,-10)
