You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2 - 13xy + 15y^2
2*15=30. the sum of the 2 factors of 30 that equal -13 are -3 and -10.
=2x^2-3xy-10xy+15y^2
=x(2x-3y)-5y(2x-3y)
=(x-5y)(2x-3y)

Hi,
Factoring
2x^2 - 13xy + 15y^2 Writing as a product (2x - _y)( - _y)
(2x - 3y)(x - 5y)
Note: SUM of the inner product(-3xy) and the outer product(-10xy) = -13xy
