ok... +f%28x%29+=+x%5E2+-+1+ and +g%28x%29+=+3x%2B5+

so +fg%28x%29+=+f%283x%2B5%29+ and hence we get
+fg%28x%29+=+%283x%2B5%29%5E2+-+1+ which is an answer. What you can do is expand the bracket and simplify. But the question doesn't ask you to simplify :-)
