You should recognize the numerator as the "difference of cubes" which can be factored to
%28%282x-3%29%284x%5E2%2B6x%2B9%29%29%2F%282x-3%29

Now you can see the (2x-3) can be canceled leaving:
4x^2 + 6x + 9
