You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First distribute the 1/3
2/3a+2=(4a)(1/3)+(1)(1/3)
2/3a+2=4/3a+1/3
Get your a terms together by subtracting 4/3a to both sides.
2/3a+2=4/3a+1/3
-4/3a -4/3a
2/3a+2=1/3
Subtract your 2 over to the 1/3
2/3a=-5/3
Multiply by the reciprocal of 2/3 which is 3/2.
(3/2)(2/3a)=(-5/3)(3/2)
a=-5/2
