Question 384946: 1. graph the equation using the slope and y intercept y = -6/5x -6
2. find slope and y intercept f(x)= -7x -9
3. find slope and y intercept for 3 - 1/3y = 7x
4. find the given equation for the given point of m = 9,(2,0)
5.find the intercepts and use them to graph y = -2 - 2x
6.find function value (fx = x3) f(-5)
7.(-5,3); 2x = 7y + 5

Hi
the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a lineis: y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
slopes and y intercept can be read off the standard form:
y = -6/5x -6 m = -6/5 y-intercept pt(0,-6)
f(x)= -7x -9 m = -7 y-intercept pt(0,-9)
3 - 1/3y = 7x Or y = -21x +9 m = -21 y-intercept pt(0,9)
