Hi
Solve the following systems of two linear equations
4x-2y =2
-2x+ y =-1 Multiplying second equation by 2
4x-2y =2
-4x+2y =-2
0 = 0 there is NO solution to this system of equations.
Note: Graph indicates equations represent parallell lines that do not intersect.

Solve the following systems of two linear equations.
4x-2y =2
-2x+y =-1
-------------
Multiply the 2nd equation by 2 to get:
-4x+2y = -2
----
Add that to the 1st equation to get:
0=0
-----
Conclusion: The two equations are the same.
The system has an infinite number of solutions:
all points of the form (x,2x-1) where x is
any Real Number.
