You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
c = hypotenuse
a = the shorter leg
b = the longer leg
formula is:
c^2 = a^2 + b^2
becomes:
c^2 = 9^2 + 17^2 = 370
c = sqrt(370) = 19.23538406
