You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Work to get the variables on one side, constants on the other.
-3%2Fx=x%2F%28-3%29
Multiply both sides by x
-3=x%5E2%2F%28-3%29
Multiply both sides by -3
9=x%5E2
x%5E2=9
highlight%28x=0+%2B-+3%29

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-3%2Fx=x%2F-3
...
multiply by x on both sides
...
-3%2Ax%2Fx+=+x%2Ax%2F-3
...
-3=x%5E2%2F-3
...
multiply by -3
-3%2A-3+=+-3%2Ax%5E2%2F-3
..
9=x%5E2
take the square root on both sides
sqrt%289%29=sqrt%28x%5E2%29
+/3= x
OR
x = +/- 3
