You can put this solution on YOUR website! If you mean
2y(y^2 + 3y - 2)
then what you do is multiply each term in the parenthese by 2y, one at a time...
2y(y^2 + 3y - 2) =
2y^3 + 6y^2 - 4y
No further simplification is possible until you know the value of y.
