You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3 equal parts means that the probability of spinning any one part is 1/3. So the probability of getting 1 the first time is 1/3, and the probability of getting 1 the second time is still 1/3. Multiply:  . The probability is 1/9.
Another way to look at it is all the possibilities. The first number I write will be what we spin the first time; the second will be what we get the second time.

There were 9 possibilities, and only 1 of them had a 1 both times. Thus, the probability is 1/9.
