You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Put this equation into slope-intercept form, ie y=mx%2Bb

where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

y-4x=10

y=4x%2B10

Thus, the slope of this line is 4 since m=4.

Since parallel lines have the same slope,

the slope of a line parallel to our given line is also 4.

So any line in the form y=4x+b would be parallel to our given line.

I hope this helps!
